Biography

I am a Registrered nurse and I recently completed my Master of Science in Nursing. I began my nursing career working on medical and surgical units at Kelowna General Hospital and, in 2010, began my teaching career with UBC Okanagan.
I am a member of the FHSD EDI Committee and I continue to work on projects to improve teaching and learning. 
                                                                                                                                                                                                                         
Courses & Teaching: Courses include acute care clinical experiences and lecture courses across years 1-4. Laura has also worked as the Practice Placement Coordinator and in Team Leader roles.
