Biography

I have been an acute care nurse for 30 years. For the past 20 years my practice has been in emergency nursing. I began teaching at UBC-Okanagan in 2006. I have continued to maintain my emergency nursing practice while teaching at UBC-Okanagan as I feel that my clinical practice and educational practice complement each other.

I have an interest in the older adult population, in both emergency and acute care, and hold my Geriatric nursing certification.
